1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Weekend Duty mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that any information you provide is accurate.
3. Accounts
Certain features require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal and team-coordination purposes on devices that you own or control. You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Sublicence or transfer your rights to any third party
5. App Description
Weekend Duty is a mobile application that provides:
- Team creation and membership with assignable roles (Member, Lead, Manager)
- Duty scheduling, reminders, and calendar entries
- Personal and team notes
- Team chat, direct messaging, and shared media (photos and videos)
- Push notifications and local weather information
The App is provided for personal and team-coordination use.
6. User Content and Conduct
You retain ownership of the content you create or upload (such as notes, messages, photos, and videos). By submitting content, you grant us a licence to store, display, and share it within the App as needed to provide its features. You are solely responsible for your content and agree not to upload anything unlawful, harmful, harassing, infringing, or otherwise objectionable. We may remove content or restrict access that violates these Terms.
7. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the App — including design, graphics, code, and branding — are owned by or licensed to CG25 Ventures. Content you create remains yours, subject to the licence described in Section 6.
8. User Data and Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The App uses cloud services (including Google Firebase) to store your account information, team content, messages, and shared media, and to deliver notifications. Please review the Privacy Policy for details on how your information is collected and used.
9. Availability and Updates
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time without prior notice. We may release updates from time to time, and you are encouraged to keep the App up to date. We are not obligated to provide any updates, support, or maintenance.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- The results obtained from using the App will be accurate or reliable
- Any defects in the App will be corrected
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CG25 Ventures and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to:
- Your use of or inability to use the App
- Any loss of data stored within or transmitted through the App
- Any unauthorized access to your account or device
- Any content posted by other users
- Any other matter relating to the App
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CG25 Ventures and its developers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the App, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Third-Party Services
The App relies on third-party services, including Google Firebase and a weather data provider. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of any third-party service. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
14. Termination
We may terminate or restrict your access to the App at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease. You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it or requesting deletion of your account.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
16. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the relevant territory.
