1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, creating an account, or using the YATO mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the App. By creating an account and using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you are legally permitted to use a dating service in your jurisdiction. Accounts found to belong to anyone under 18 will be removed.
3. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices that you own or control. You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App
- Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access, collect data from, or interact with the App or its users
- Sublicence or transfer your rights or your account to any third party
4. App Description
YATO is a mobile dating and social discovery application that allows users to:
- Create a personal profile with photos, videos, and details
- Discover and view other users through Search and Crystal Ball
- Like, match with, and send compliments to other users
- Chat with matched users, including messages, GIFs, and reactions
The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.
5. Accounts and Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep it up to date, and to notify us of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from your failure to protect your account.
6. User Conduct and Content
You are solely responsible for the content you provide, including profile information, photos, videos, and messages ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and share it as needed to operate the App (including displaying your profile to other users). You agree not to post, send, or share content that:
- Is unlawful, harassing, abusive, hateful, defamatory, or threatening
- Is sexually explicit, obscene, or otherwise violates our Community Guidelines
- Impersonates any person or misrepresents your identity or age
- Contains nudity, violence, spam, scams, or solicitations
- Infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of others
- Promotes illegal activity or the exploitation or endangerment of others
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to review, remove, or restrict any User Content and to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
7. Safety
YATO facilitates connections between people but does not conduct criminal background checks on users. You are responsible for your own interactions and safety. Never share sensitive personal or financial information, be cautious when meeting anyone in person, meet in public places, and report or block any user who makes you feel unsafe. You interact with other users at your own risk.
8. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the App — including its design, graphics, code, and branding — are owned by or licensed to CG25 Ventures. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or other brand features.
9. User Data and Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes the information we collect and how it is used. By using the App, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Availability and Updates
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it, including any feature) at any time without prior notice. We may release updates from time to time, and you are encouraged to keep the App up to date. We are not obligated to provide any updates, support, or maintenance.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- The conduct, identity, or compatibility of any user will meet your expectations
- Any defects in the App will be corrected
- You will find a match or achieve any particular result through the App
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CG25 Ventures and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to:
- Your use of or inability to use the App
- The conduct of any user or the content of any communication on the App
- Any in-person meetings or interactions with other users
- Any loss of data or unauthorized access to your account or device
- Any other matter relating to the App
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CG25 Ventures and its developers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the App, your User Content, your interactions with other users, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or the rights of a third party.
14. Third-Party Services
The App relies on third-party services, including Google Firebase, to operate. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
15. Termination
We may suspend, terminate, or restrict your access to the App at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms or our Community Guidelines. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease. You may terminate your use of the App at any time by deleting your account or uninstalling the App from your device.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
17. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the relevant territory.
