1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the ChessGolf mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
3. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices that you own or control. You may not:

Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App

Use the App for any unlawful purpose

Sublicence or transfer your rights to any third party

4. App Description
ChessGolf is a mobile application that provides:

A chess game with configurable timer systems (chess clock, chess time, and golf time)

A golf scorecard tracker for recording rounds and scores
The App is provided for entertainment and personal use only.
5. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the App — including design, graphics, code, and branding — are owned by or licensed to ChessGolf. Chess piece symbols use standard Unicode characters. Move sound effects are sourced from lichess.org under their open licence.
6. User Data and Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. All game data and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information.
7. Availability and Updates
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time without prior notice. We may release updates to the App from time to time, and you are encouraged to keep the App up to date. We are not obligated to provide any updates, support, or maintenance.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free

The results obtained from using the App will be accurate or reliable

Any defects in the App will be corrected

9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ChessGolf and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to:

Your use of or inability to use the App

Any unauthorised access to your device

Any other matter relating to the App
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ChessGolf and its developers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
11. Third-Party Content
The App may load sound assets from lichess.org. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
12. Termination
We may terminate or restrict your access to the App at any time, without notice, for any reason. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease. You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the relevant territory.
