ChessGolf does not collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information. We do not require account creation, login credentials, or any personal details to use the App.

3. Local Data Storage

The App stores the following data locally on your device only:

Game state (board positions, clock settings, move history)
Golf scorecard sessions (course names, player names, scores)
App preferences (theme, sound, display settings)

This data is saved using your device's local storage and is never transmitted to us or any third party. You can clear this data at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing the App's data in your device settings.

4. Internet Access

The App uses internet access solely to stream optional move sound effects from lichess.org. No personal data is included in these requests. Sound effects can be disabled in the App's Settings screen.

5. Third-Party Services

ChessGolf does not integrate any:

Analytics or tracking services
Advertising networks or SDKs
Social media login or sharing SDKs
Crash reporting services

Sound assets are loaded from lichess.org. Please refer to lichess.org's own privacy policy for information about their data practices.

6. Children's Privacy

ChessGolf does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The App contains no in-app purchases, advertisements, or account registration of any kind.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share any user data with third parties because we do not collect any user data.

8. Data Security

Because no personal data is collected or transmitted, the primary security consideration is the security of your device itself. We recommend keeping your device operating system and the App up to date.

9. Your Rights

Since we do not collect or process any personal data, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, delete, or export. All App data is stored locally on your device and is fully within your control.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
